CREST HIll, Ill. – State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, spoke at the grand opening of the Silver Cross Health Center and Urgent Care , 16129 S. Weber Road, Crest Hill, recently.
“Thanks goes to Silver Cross for believing in Crest Hill,” Manley said. “As one of the largest employers in Will County, their presence here is critical to all of us. Having access to health care seven days a week will help everyone in our community.”
Staffed by highly-skilled nurse practitioners and physician assistants, the center will offer walk-in and urgent care for adults and children over six months old, including X-ray services.
In the future, the center will offer primary care, lab services, and cancer screenings, including mammography services.
“I also want to commend Silver Cross for providing over $57 million in charity care, such as unreimbursed Medicaid, volunteer services, and educational programming,” Manley said. “We are fortunate to have a nationally recognized hospital here that has served the residents of Will County for 129 years.”
Also attending the opening ceremony and ribbon cutting were Senator Meg Loughran Cappel, Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, Crest Hill Mayor Ray Soliman, and Joliet Mayor Terry D’Arcy.
